12:18 And the Sadducees are coming before him, ...
who say a resurrection (is) not to be, ...!
And they were questioning him, saying, ...
12:19 "Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ...
that if of someone a brother should die, ...
and leave behind a wife, and not leave a child, ...
that may take the brother of him the wife, ...
and may raise up a seed for the brother of him."
12:20 "There were seven brothers, ...
and the first took a wife, ...
and dying, did not leave a seed."
12:21 "And the second took her, ...
and he died, not having left behind a seed, ...
  and the third likewise."
12:22 "And the seven did not leave a seed.
and last of all the wife died."
12:23 "In the raising up, when they are raised, to which of them will she be a wife?"
"For all seven had her as a wife."
12:24 Jesus said to them, ... "Is it not through this you are mislead, ...
not having known the scriptures, nor the power of God?"
12:25 "For when out of the dead they stand up, ...
not do marry, nor be married, but are like angels in the heavens.
12:26 "Yet about the dead that they are raised, ...
have you not read in the Book of Moses at the thornbush, ...
how God spoke to him saying, ...
I am the God of Abraham, ...
and the God of Isaac, ...
  and the God of Jacob?"
12:27 "He is not a God of the dead, ...
but of the living, You are greatly lead astray!"
