|
15:01
|
And immediately
in the morning ... |
| |
the chief
priests with the elders and the scribes "prepare a plan"
... |
|
|
and the
whole Sanhedrin, binding Jesus, carry him away ... |
|
|
and they
deliver him to Pilate. |
|
15:02
|
And Pilate
asks him ... Are you the "King of the Jews"? |
|
|
Then answering
him, he says ... You are saying it. |
|
15:03
|
And the
chief priests accused him of "many things." |
|
15:04
|
And then
Pilate asked him again, saying ... You are not answering "anything"?
|
|
|
Behold
how "many things" they are accusing you of! |
|
15:05
|
And then
Jesus still did not answer anything ... so that Pilate was "marvelling." |
|
15:06
|
According
to the Festival, he released one bound-one to them whom they
requested. |
|
15:07
|
And there
was one being said (Jesus) "BarAbbas" ... with the
"standers" having been bound. |
| |
who in the "standing" had done murder. |
| 15:08 |
And stepping up, the crowd "begins requesting" as
if he did it to them. |
| 15:09 |
And then Pilate answered them saying ... Are you willing that
I release to you the "King of the Jews"? |
| 15:10 |
For he knew that the chief priests had given him up through
"envy." |
| 15:11 |
And then the chief priests moved up the crowd ... |
| |
that rather he should release (Jesus) BarAbbas to them. |
| 15:12 |
And then Pilate again answering said to them ... What are
you willing that I should do to whom you call the "King
of the Jews." |
| 15:13 |
And then again they cry ... crucify him! |
| 15:14 |
And then Pilate said to them ... For what "evil"
does he do? |
| |
and then they exceedingly cry ... crucify him! |
| 15:15 |
And then Pilate "intending" to the crowd he did
enough ... releases BarAbbas to them ... |
| |
and beside gives Jesus ... |
| |
scourging him ... |
| |
so that he may be crucified. |
