| 10:46 |
And they
are coming into Jericho ... |
| |
And of him going out from Jericho, and of his disciples, and of a sufficient crowd ... |
| |
the son of Timeaus, Bartimeaus, a blind beggar, sat down beside
"the way." |
| 10:47 |
And hearing
that it is Jesus the Nazarene ... |
| |
he began to cry and say ... |
| |
The Son of David, Jesus have mercy on me! |
| 10:48 |
And many
hushed him that he should be silent ... |
| |
But he
cried much more ... |
| |
Son of David, have mercy on me! |
| 10:49 |
And having stood, Jesus said for him to be called. |
| |
And
they called the blind man saying to him ... Have courage, rise,
he is calling you. |
| 10:50 |
Then casting
away his himation, stepping up, he came before Jesus. |
| 10:51 |
And having answered him, Jesus said ... What do you "wish" that I do for you? |
| |
Then the blind man said to him ... Rabbi, that I see up. |
| 10:52 |
And Jesus said to him ... Be under-leading, your "belief"
has "saved" you. |
| |
And immediately he saw up. |
| |
And he followed him in "the way." |
