| 10:17 |
And
going out into a "way," someone was running before
him ... |
|
and
falling on his knees before him, he was asking him ... Teacher!
Good! what may I do so that I may inherit "eternal life"?
|
| 10:18 |
And
Jesus said to him ... Why do you call me "good"? |
| |
nobody
is "good" ... |
| |
if
nobody (is good) ... |
| |
the
God (is good). |
| 10:19 |
You
know the commandments ... |
| |
no
murdering, no adultering, no stealing, no false witnessing,
no defrauding, be honoring ... |
| |
your
father and mother. |
| 10:20 |
Then
he enlightened to him ... Teacher! All these things I guard
out of my "youth." |
| 10:21 |
And
Jesus, having looked at him ... |
| |
loved
him. |
|
And
he said to him ... one thing you lack ... |
| |
Go,
sell as much as you have ... |
| |
and
give it to the poor ... |
| |
and
you will have treasure in heaven ... |
| |
and
come follow me. |
| 10:22 |
But
feeling down upon the word ... |
| |
he
left grieving because he had many possessions. |
| 10:23 |
And
having looked around Jesus says to his pupils ... How hard will
the ones having riches to enter into the Kingdom of God. |
| 10:24 |
And
the pupils were amazed upon his words ... |
|
But
Jesus again having answered says to them ... Children, how difficult
it is to enter into the Kingdom of God. |
| 10:25 |
It
is easier for a "camel" to go through the "eye
of a needle" ... |
| |
than
for a rich person to enter into the Kingdom of God. |
| 10:26 |
And
they were even more roundly amazed saying to themselves ...
And who is able to be saved? |
| 10:27 |
Having
looked at them Jesus says ... With men impossible ... |
| |
but
not with God ... for all things are possible with God. |
| 10:28 |
The Stone began to say to him ... Behold,
we left everything ... and we have followed you. |
| 10:29 |
The Jesus said ... amen, I say to you
... there is nobody who left house, or brothers, or sisters,
or mother, or father, or children, or fields for the sake of
me ... |
| |
and for the sake of the "good news."
|
| 10:30 |
who will not recieve a hundredfold now
in this age ... |
| |
houses and brothers and sisters and
mothers, and children, and fields with persecutions ... |
| |
and in the coming age ...
"eternal life." |
| 10:31 |
And many first will be last ... |
| |
and the last ... first. |
