6:45 |
And immediately he compelled his disciples to embark into the boat ... |
| |
and to lead before (him) into the other side
before Bethsaida ... |
| |
while
he dismisses the crowd. |
6:46 |
And having
separated from them ... |
| |
he came away
into the mountain to pray. |
6:47 |
And evening
having come ... |
| |
the boat
was in the middle of the sea ... |
| |
and he
alone upon the land. |
6:48 |
And he perceived them being tortured in the driving (wind) ... |
| |
for the wind
was against them ... |
| |
around the fourth watch of the night
... |
| |
he comes by them walking around on the sea ... |
| |
and
he desired to go by them. |
6:49 |
But having
perceived him walking around on the sea ... |
| |
they thought it is a phantom! |
| |
And they
cried out. |
6:50 |
For everyone
perceived him and
were terrified. |
| |
But
immediately he spoke with them ... |
| |
and
he says to them ... Be brave ... I
am ... Don't be afraid. |
6:51 |
And he stepped up before them into
the boat ... |
| |
and
the wind fell ... |
| |
and
they were very much amazed in themselves. |
6:52 |
For they
did not understand about the loaves ... |
| |
for their
"heart" had been hardened. |
