Twelve Apostles Icon

Verses 30-44 are not normal narrative sentences. The verses have many disjointed phrases ... but when paraphrased and mistranslated as in most bibles, the cleaned up verses are made to appear like the report of a real historical event.  A careful and accurate translation of the Greek text reveals a multiplicity of puns and Gnostic metaphors.

6:30 And the apostles gathered together to face Jesus ...
and they reported to him everything that they did ...
  and what they taught.
6:31 And he says to them ... Come down privately by yourselves into a "wilderness place" ...
  and rest a little.
For the "ones coming" and the "ones going" were many ...
and they did not have a "good time" to "eat."
6:32 And they departed in the "boat" down into a "wilderness place" privately.
6:33 And many saw them going ... and "knew" ...
and "on foot" from all of the "towns" they ran there ...
and they arrived ahead of them.

6:34

And coming out, he saw a "crowd of many" ...

and his "bowels were moved" on them ...
for they were like "sheep" not having a "shepherd" ...
and he began to "teach" them "many things."

6:35

And now a "many hour" (late hour) was coming ...

his pupils were approaching him saying ... The "place" is a "wilderness" ...
and now (it is) a "many hour" (late hour). ...

6:36

Send them away ... so that having departed into the "encircling farms" and "hill villages" ...

they may buy for themselves what they may eat.
