| 5:21 |
And Jesus having gone through to the other side ... |
| |
a "vast crowd" was "led together"
on him ... |
| |
and he
was beside the sea. |
| 5:22 |
And one of the synagogue leaders comes ... |
| |
by name
Jairos ... |
| |
and having perceived
him ... |
| |
he falls before his feet. |
| 5:23 |
And
he called beside him much ... |
| |
saying ... My little daughter is "at the point of death" ... |
| |
so that having come, you may put the hands to her ... |
| |
so that
she may be "saved" and "live." |
| 5:24 |
And he
came away with him ... |
| |
and the
vast crowd followed him ... |
| |
and together
they constricted him. |
| 5:25 |
And (there was) a woman being in a "fountain of blood" for twelve years. |
| 5:26 |
And she had "suffered much" under many healers ... |
| |
and had spent everything beside her ... |
| |
and yet "nobody" profited ... |
| |
but rather she was coming into (something) worse. |
| 5:27 |
Having heard about Jesus coming in the crowd ... |
| |
from behind, she touched his garment. |
| 5:28 |
For she said that if ever I should touch his garments
... |
| |
I will be saved. |
| 5:29 |
And immediately the "fountain of her blood" was dried up. |
| |
And she knew to the body that she was healed from
the "scourge." |
| 5:30 |
And immediately Jesus having known in himself his "power"
coming out ... |
| |
on being turned around in the crowd ... |
| |
he was saying ... Who touched
my garments? |
| 5:31 |
And his disciples said to him ... You see the crowd
together constricting you |
| |
and you say ... Who touched me? |
| 5:32 |
And he looked around to perceive the one doing this. |
| 5:33 |
Yet the woman was fearing and trembling ... |
| |
having perceived
what had happened to her ... |
| |
she came and fell before him ... |
| |
and she said to him all the truth. |
| 5:34 |
Then he said to her ... Daughter, your "belief" has
saved you ... |
| |
be underleading into "peace" ... |
| |
and be "healed"
from your "scourge." |
| 5:35 |
While he was speaking, they are coming from the synagogue leader ... |
| |
saying that your daughter died ... |
| |
Why are you still "flaying" the teacher? |
| 5:36 |
Yet Jesus overhearing "the word" being spoken ... |
| |
says to the synagogue leader ... Don't be afraid! |
| |
Only believe! |
| 5:37 |
And he did not allow anyone to follow together with him ... |
| |
except the Stone,
and James, and John, the brother of James. |
| 5:38 |
And they are coming into the "house" of the synagogue leader ... |
| |
and he is beholding a "tumult" ... |
| |
and ones weeping ... |
| |
and ones screaming a lot. |
| 5:39 |
And having entered ... |
| |
he says to them ... Why are you
tumulting and crying? |
| |
The little child has not died but is sleeping. |
| 5:40 |
And they laughed down at him ... |
| |
then he is casting them all out ... |
| |
he takes along the father and mother of the little girl ... |
| |
and
the ones with him ... |
| |
and he is going into where the little girl was. |
| 5:41 |
And holding the hand of the little girl he is saying to her
... Talitha Coum ... |
| |
which is being translated as "little maiden, to you I
am saying be resurrecting!" |
| 5:42 |
And immediately the little maiden arose ... |
| |
and she trod around ... |
| |
because she was of "twelve years" ... |
| |
and "they stood out" to a "great amazement." |
| 5:43 |
And he "put through a lot" to them so that nobody
should know this. |
| |
And he said ... (Something) should be given to her to eat. |
