And again he began to teach beside the sea ... |
| And a vast crowd was led together before him ... | |
| so that he stepped into a boat sitting in the sea. | |
| And all the crowd before the sea were on the land. | |
| 4:02 | And he taught them in many parables ... |
| and he said to them in his teaching ... Listen! Perceive! ... | |
| 4:03 | The one went out sowing to sow. |
| 4:04 | And it happened in the sowing, some indeed fell by the way ... |
| and the flyers came ... | |
| and they ate it down. | |
| 4:05 | And other fell on the rock formation where it did not have much earth ... |
| and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth. | |
| 4:06 | And when the sun rose it was scorched ... |
| and because it did not have a root it withered. | |
| 4:07 | And other fell into the thorn bushes ... |
| and the thorns came up and choked it ... | |
| and it did not give fruit. | |
| 4:08 | And others fell into the ideal earth ... |
| and it gave fruit stepping up ... | |
| and increasing ... | |
| one carried "thirty" ... | |
| and one "sixty" ... | |
| and one ... "a hundred." |
| 4:09 | And he was saying ...Who has ears to hear, let him hear! |
| 4:10 | And when he was alone by himself, the ones around him with the twelve were asking him (about) the "parables." |
| 4:11 | And he was saying to them ... You have been given the "mystery" of the "Kingdom of God" ... |
| but to those, the ones outside,... everything occurs in parables. | |
| 4:12 | In order that seeing, they may see ... |
| and they may not perceive ... | |
| and hearing, they may hear ... | |
| and they may not understand ... | |
| lest they should turn about and it be forgiven to them. | |
| 4:13 | And he says to them ... Do you not understand this parable? |
| And then how will you come to know all the parables? |
| 4:14 | The one sowing sows the word. |
| 4:15 | And these are the ones beside the way where the word is sown ... |
| and when they hear ... immediately satan comes ... | |
| and he is lifting the word having been sown into them. | |
| 4:16 | And these are the ones sown on the "rock formations" ... |
| who whenever they hear the word ... | |
| immediately with joy receive it. | |
| 4:17 | And they do not have a root in themselves but are "short lived" ... |
then pressure comes or persecution because of the word ... |

| immediately they are snared. | |
| 4:18 | And others are the ones sown into the thorns ... |
| These are the ones having heard the word. | |
| 4:19 | And the worries of this eternity ... |
| and the deceit of wealth ... | |
| and the lusts for the remaining (things) ... | |
| coming in choke the word ... | |
| and it becomes not fruitful. | |
| 4:20 | And these are the ones sown upon the ideal earth ... |
| who hear the word ... | |
| and beside receive it ... | |
| and bear "fruit" ... | |
| one ... "thirty" ... | |
| and one ... "sixty" ... | |
| and one ... "a hundred." |
