The scene opens on the shore of the sea of Galilee then moves to the house of Levi in Capernaum. The cast of characters: Jesus, and four of his disciples (Simon, Andrew, James, and John), Levi, some other tax collectors, some sinners, some scribes, some pharasees and some of their disciples, and some disciples of John the Baptist.
