|
2:01
|
And entering
again into Capernaum through days ... |
|
|
it is
"heard" that he is in a house. |
|
2:02
|
And many
were gathered together so that there was no space between them
... |
|
|
not even
before the door ... |
|
|
and he
spoke "the word" to them. |
|
2:03
|
And they
come carrying a paralytic before him ... |
| |
raised
up by "four." |
|
2:04
|
And
not being able to bring him through the "crowd" ...
|
| |
they
"unroofed the roof" where he was ... |
| |
and digging out ... |
| |
they are lowering the bed upon which the paralytic
was laid down. |
|
2:05
|
And having
seen their "faith" ... |
| |
Jesus
says to the paralytic ... Child, your "sins" are forgiven.
|
|
2:06
|
Now some
of the scribes were sitting there ... |
|
|
and talking
things through in their "hearts." |
|
2:07
|
Why is
this one speaking this? ... |
| |
He is
blaspheming! |
| |
Who is able to able to forgive sins ... if not only God? |
| 2:08 |
And immediately Jesus knew on his "spirit" that
they are talking things through among themselves ... |
| |
he says to them ... why are you talking things through in
your "hearts"? |
| 2:09 |
Which is easier to say to the paralytic ... your sins are
forgiven? ... |
| |
or to say ... stand! |
| |
and pick up your bed ... |
| |
and walk around? |
| 2:10 |
But so you may know ... |
| |
that the "son of man" has "authority"
to forgive "sins upon the earth" ... |
| 2:11 |
He says to the paralytic ... I say to you stand! ... |
| |
pick up your bed ... |
| |
and go into your house. |
| 2:12 |
And he rose ... |
| |
and immediately taking the bed ... |
| |
he went outside in front of everyone ... so as to astonish
everyone ... |
| |
and glorifying God they were saying ... We have never seen
anything like this. |
